A Day at FLAG

Take a look at what a typical day at FLAG looks like.

We are an adult learning center; you will be treated as such. You can come and go to fit your schedule. If you are coming for the day, bring your lunch or dinner! We have a refrigerator and a microwave for your convenience. Make yourself at home; relax in our friendly atmosphere.

Most of the time students work on their prescriptions; however, there are planned classes several times a day that you are welcome to attend.

You will typically have a prescription for math, reading, and language. You might work on a lesson in each area each day. When you finish a prescription, you will retest to make sure your skills are improving. When ready, you will take a practice GED test and then sign up for the real thing if scores indicate that you are ready.

Students take breaks as needed. We have a Coke machine and a snack machine for you to use.

We try to make this a positive experience for you. After all, we want you to succeed as much as you do!
